Fridge Freezer

Hi,
I have a Hotpoint Iced Diamond fridge freezer. The problem is that fridge
does not get as cold as it once used to but still keeps things fresh ish,
the freezer is fine. I have been told that it can be re-gassed, would this
help and how much would it cost?

Have you checked the coils for dust build-up lately? I only mention this
because as I was lying on the floor working on the dishwasher, I noticed
dust under the fridge. I pulled off the grille and what a terrible mess I
found. I cleaned it up with a coil brush and a vacuum. I know this can
impair the efficiency of the machine, so its worth a check.
