I seem to have an issue with some Denon amplification gear circa 1990s. Its
got a relay which delays the speaker connection till the voltages have
stabilised, but the contacts seem to get dirty every few months. I assume
there is not much one can do except attempt to find out what sort of relay
it is and fit a new one. All I've had done so far is just run a thin piece
of paper between the contacts, but wondered if there was something which
might last or perhaps the actual sprinyness in the relay is now crap.
