Anyone got any idea what the main failure of this boiler to ignite could be?
The CH system calls for heat.
The flue fan runs constantly - as expected.
There is gas (gas meter cranks around as boiler tries to run).
The CH pump is running.
The CH system is at the correct pressure.

Just no spark! (no click, click, click sound).

Is it likely to be an electrode fault - or more likely to be a control board
fault? Is there anything else I should be looking for?

Check the electrode porcelain carefully you will be looking for hairline
cracks then check the continuity of the cable to the electrode. If these
check out good then it is probably the ignition control which is faulty
